I had a real easy job back during The War.  I grabbed my rifle or I jumped in my fighter and me and my partner killed the bad guys.  I never had to straighten my uniform, knock on a door, and tell a father his son wasn’t coming home.  I never had to hand a flag to a grieving mother.  I couldn’t have handled that job.  To anyone who’s done that, I can only salute you and say “Well done.  And thank you for your service.”
