The end of the Twentieth Century and the beginning of the Twenty-First Century was a time of change. New technologies and new services created innovative ways for people all over the planet to talk to each other. Computers morphed from boxy, desktop affairs to tiny devices that could fit in pockets. Limited network access that was once reliant on logging in via unmovable phone lines morphed into a culture of being constantly “online” via the wireless networks anywhere people went. It was a revolution in communications capability.
