The Shang stopped hunting Rosalie and Rosalind towards the end of The War. There are so many theories about what the Shang did or didn\u2019t do towards War\u2019s End. The official verdict is that they just ran out of resources in the end. We strangled their supply lines until they had no choice but to give up and leave us alone. But I\u2019ve always had that phantom memory of them flying away after the girls spoke to them. Maybe they convinced the Shang that we weren\u2019t a threat. And maybe, just maybe, that played a part in the Shang\u2019s general withdrawal from our part of the galaxy. I know it seems crazy to think that two small town girls from Northern Minnesota could play a part in ending a galactic war, but what if they did?
