Three years ago, President Trump told the crowd to \u201cpeacefully and patriotically make your voices heard,\u201d when they went to the permitted Capitol Protest. During Trump\u2019s speech, Ray Epps leaned over to speak to someone who quickly started taking down barricades at the Capitol. Capitol Police fired flash bangs at the crowd. People broke down barriers. People rioted. They broke doors and windows open and entered the Capitol. One was shot in the neck and killed with a firearm, and three died after the police used less-lethal weapons. In other parts of the protest, nobody knew anything odd was going on. Capitol Police held doors open for Protestors, leading them through the Capitol in peace.
