Hurricane Milton has come and gone and Florida is rebuilding. Again. Meanwhile the Appalachians are still smashed into smithereens. Not a surprise really. Florida gets hit by a hurricane and it\u2019s Tuesday. The Appalachians aren\u2019t really what we would consider hurricane alley. So when a hurricane stops on top of them and drowns them, they are going to be a while recovering. It doesn\u2019t help that FEMA says they are out of money and is mostly going in to tell other people what to do. So two weeks after Hurricane Helene pounded the snot out of Appalachia, private rescue, relief, and supply convoys continue flowing into the region in search of survivors who haven\u2019t been contacted yet.
