The last month has been a busy month for me.<\/p>\n
Two of my stories have been published by two different presses.
\nWyld Magick from Three Ravens has my short story Trickster in it.
\nStone and Sky from Opal Kingdom Press has my short story The Veiled Guardians in it.
\nSearch for each of those on Amazon and you can find them.
\nThat is amazingly cool. It is always good to see your name in lights, as the case goes, and even better when your name is on the cover. That’s just the cherry on top. I’ve been in Team And More a great many times over the years now, and Team And More usually gets paid just as much as the names on the cover, but it is nice to see your name on the cover.<\/p>\n
I’ve also submitted five stories to five completely different publishers to those two noted above.
\nOne will be published soon, and one was rejected.
\nThat means I’m waiting on responses to three stories, but you will see one published soon, so that is awesome as well.<\/p>\n
Finally, my next month is going to be interesting.
\nI have five anthology submissions on my docket that I would like to do over the next four weeks, to four different publishers.
\nOne is going to get an already completed story, so that leaves me at looking to write four stories.
\nTwo of them I’ve already done a great deal of research into, and in one case I’ve already written a fair bit of it. So those two I think I have dialed in.
\nThe other two are the question marks for me. I have a major convention planned in two weeks, which is going to eat up one weekend. That means there is every chance that one or two of those stories I have on my docket are going to slip off the docket.
\nSuch is life. I would like to do them. I might be able to. I will find out.<\/p>\n
But my hard plan is to submit between three and five stories over the next month.<\/p>\n
I’m keeping myself busy, I’m getting published, and I’m getting paid.<\/p>\n
