My parents enrolled me in every music class they could in school.\u00a0 Choir.\u00a0 Orchestra.\u00a0 Marching band.\u00a0 I learned how to play the violin for orchestra.\u00a0 I learned guitar for marching band, which was fun, and then got to march behind the majorettes.\u00a0 That was awesome.\u00a0 I went to Minnesota state music festivals every year, and we even marched at the Snow Bowl Parade a few times.\u00a0 We didn\u2019t even need warm weather gear for that.\u00a0 The marching kept us warm enough all we needed was earmuffs and we were good to go.\u00a0 Those were the days.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
