What I learned at New Washington was simple. And it was hard. Like the simple often is. It was also complicated. I know. That\u2019s full of contradictions. Well, that\u2019s life. Never as simple or easy as we would like. But what did I learn? A lot. But one thing was this. I couldn\u2019t do what I wanted to do if I remained the same old fun loving party animal I\u2019d been as a kid. But I also couldn\u2019t do it if I let people realize I\u2019d changed. What did I learn? I learned that the best way for me to win was to act like I didn\u2019t care about winning at all. People don\u2019t tend to take the party animal seriously.
