I owe all my grades to Rosalie and Rosalind. They made it clear that they were not going to let me slack off too much. They dragged me out of the parties the nights before each big test to study. They chased away girls that hurt my grades. And they took time out of their studies to keep me up to pace. I would have been an awful poor friend if I’d let them sacrifice their grades for me, so I did what they told me to do and got the grades they demanded. So they could dedicate more time to showing everyone else at the University of Minnesota what a couple small town girls from Northern Minnesota could do. Valedictorians. Twins. Absolutely identical grades. And I got to stand on the stage with them when they did their speech. That was pretty fantastic.
