One of my best friends celebrated his birthday this weekend. And so did the cousin he grew up with like a brother. In recent years, they celebrate by throwing an Alpha Strike tournament and inviting anybody who wants to come. I came this weekend, and it was fun. I burned all my dice mojo in round one, and spent the rest of the tournament missing easy shots, losing almost every initiative, and 2 of 4 games. Though I only allowed people to score a total of 3 points off me, which is a cool bragging point. And I fought some real top shelf players from all over the country. They were great, I loved it, and it was all fun. Here is a picture of the First Taurian Lancers 350 Army I brought, and the mapscale Leopard DropShips that carry them into battle.
