The Cybernetic Council came into The War prepared to give us the best support they could. Full companies of individual cybers supported each Cowboy in our mission to keep peace in the Hyades. There are studies that show the perfect size for a single unit commanded by one person is between 100 and 200 men in size. Most military companies are in the bottom end of that range. The cybers sent most of us around 150 Marines and crew with each Privateer. The number was no accident. They gave us specialists in every conceivable subject matter we might run into, and each was their own unique person. Mine were AIs who grew up with me, knew me like only siblings and best friends can, and they came with all the knowledge and specialties needed to change worlds.
