My Privateer and my game AIs stayed close to me in the Hyades. Sometimes I flew on them. Or off them as the case may be. But when I was liaising with Western Alliance warships, they remained within support range at all times. The Privateer was small but packed a lot of punch as most cybernetic ships do, and she came equipped with carrier pods to keep the Avengers at peak operating efficiency. They were a major force multiplier, and often moved to intercept incoming attacks to give the ship I was on time to respond. They were actually destroyed numerous times during the campaign. Some times local fabricators were able to rebuild them. Other times the cybers sent a new Privateer to replace the loss. They always fought to reduce biological human casualties.
