Jack of Harts

So I just had my yearly AC checkup done at my house. Cleaned and spiffed up and jazz. You know what sucked about it? The all day service time. Now they actually got it done sooner than I expected, so that was good, but seriously. I had to set aside an entire day to do nothing but wait for them to show up from 8AM until 5PM. I work overnights, so that just means I lean back in the chair and nap until they show up. How do people with daytime jobs do this kind of stuff? Take a whole day off? This is all day service time stuff is wild.
