Jack of Harts

The Peloran I created for Jack of Harts are a warrior race who don’t want to fight. Their greatest wish is to live in happy harmony with nature, themselves, and other races. This is both a genetic and cultural imperative. The vast majority of Peloran who live in the middle of Peloran space never see anyone who is not Peloran and they like it that way. Those who live on the edges of Peloran space, on the worlds declared open to outsiders, have generally drifted a bit from that core principle. Their genetic coding is corrupted, and they want to live where they see other people. Trade with them. Talk with them. Maybe even get in a fight. These are an absolute minority of Peloran, but are the only Peloran most people see in or near Peloran space.
