Jack of Harts

Three months after the first assassination attempt on Trump, the once and maybe future President of the United States returned to the place he and three other people were shot. One, a firefighter, died covering his family with his body to protect them. Two others spent days in the hospital recovering from critical injuries. We remembered them yesterday. We sang patriotic songs. We looked forward to a better future. It is a better future I greatly hope we are able to claim.

This was of course the first attempt, and I do not believe it will be the last. If I wished rhetoric designed to radicalize mentally unstable people into being willing to sacrifice their lives to kill my political opponent, I would use the exact rhetoric that Democrats are using right now, so I expect there will be more attempts. Their actions and their words are consistent with that result, and every time it misses, they simply pile on with the rhetoric. They do not say they were wrong to say what they did. They don’t apologize for radicalizing assassins against their opponent. They continue with their rhetoric. There comes a time when you must assume that the repeated results of repeated actions is the intent. Is the plan. That is why I believe the Democrats are trying to kill Trump. Their repeated actions suggest it is their intent.

I do not wish to live in an America where it is accepted political actions to jail or kill your political opponents. That is why I hope that all of you vote based on whether or not you want to live in an America where that is accepted and normal. There are plenty of places in the world where it is. I do not want America to become one of them. I hope a majority of Americans agree with me and are willing to go vote and make their voices known.
