According to the traditions of Christmas, it is not over and done in a single day. First there is the Advent, the days leading up to Christmas where we give small gifts and prepare for Christmas itself. Then there are twelve days of Christmas, starting on what we call Christmas day. Twelve days of giving gifts, like lords a leaping and swans and stuff like that. Twelve days. That wasn’t just a funny song. They really truly mean twelve days of Christmas. With that in mind, the cards I just put in the mail today still count as Christmas cards. I’m just using more of the days of Christmas to get them out than most people. I call that a full use of time. 😉
