Total War
Trump’s win in 2016 changed everything. And we all know what happened. Both the Democrat and Republican leaderships declared total war on him. The Hillary campaign paid for the creation of a report accusing Trump of being a Russian Agent, leaked it, and then the FBI used that leaked report to start an investigation against Trump and his appointees. Generals straight up refused to move troops when Trump ordered them, and bureaucrats and other appointees leaked both false and true things about him every day. They tried to break him. They DID break some of his appointees.
And when Trump succeeded against all that headwind and managed to improve all of our lives with a better economy, well then we had covid, and they decreed we had to shut down the economy to save lives. We couldn’t go to church or get together in large groups. It was unhealthy you see. But you could get together in large groups to riot and burn down the cities, like happened an hour away from where I live. The covid virus would recognize your moral good will and not infect you if you were rioting against the Orange Man Bad and the Racism Bad.
I knew going in that Trump winning in 2020 would be a heavy lift. Both political parties wanted him out. And the amount of censorship in the media and the unanimity of hatred of all things Trump was obvious to eyes that had long since learned not to trust any of those organizations. Mine. I haven’t trusted any of them since my twenties. But I still went out to vote. It is my duty as a citizen to do that. That’s the minimum we should do. Make our votes and voices heard so at least we have drawn a line and said that this is where we stand. So I voted for Trump on election day, went home, and waited to watch the unified powers of Washington and the media kick him out.
And then I saw the voice of the people in action. I watched the returns and I was amazed. The returns were clear. The voters had voted Trump and America went to sleep.
