Trump spoke at the United Nations yesterday, and he gave them the riot act. He called out illegal immigration as a method of invasion that was destroying Europe and that he was fighting here in America. And he called the UN out for not doing anything to end the wars waging all over the place. Said he’s stopped many without the UN helping.

But before he arrived, UN staffers joked about making Trump’s escalator stop working when he arrived. It was reported in the news. And when he arrived, Melania walked onto a working escalator in front of him and he followed her onto it. And at that moment, came to a sudden stop that almost caused both of them to fall. But they had a good grip on the handrails and neither fell. Then the teleprompter failed to work, leaving Trump to have to speak without it. But Trump can actually speak off the cuff, and he kept going. And his microphone failed during the speech. One thing after another, after UN staffers joked about making stuff stop working to inconvenience him.

Now I can’t say for certain that they did all of that on purpose. But do I think UN staffers are petty enough to do it? Yes. And do I think they did it on purpose? Yes.

Remember the old saying from Ian Fleming. “Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Three times is enemy action.”
