Jack of Harts

I went to the emergency room because I was having trouble swallowing. Nearly choking. Just on the edge. It is something that has happened before, rarely. Now twice in the same week. They did an X-ray and decided it wasn’t something to do with my chest that X-ray at least can see. After spending a night there, they sent me home with extreme suggestion that I get follow up. At the follow up with my care team, I was scheduled to get a procedure where they stick a tube down my throat to see what is going on. Today at 8:15AM. I went home, went to sleep to get prepare to go in the next day. After 3PM, they rescheduled to a couple weeks from now and did not inform me. I checked in for the procedure on Thursday and found out I wasn’t doing anything today. And there was nothing they could do. They did not have the capacity to see me, because the procedure takes putting me to sleep to do it, and they don’t have enough rooms to do it. I got people to cover me at work, I got people to accompany me, and nothing got done because they rescheduled me. And now I’m stuck hoping I don’t choke again, with no idea of why I’m having this issue.
