I’ve got two more parts of The Rebirth written. That Transformers fan fiction has already been published through the Teletran fan magazine, and I intend to publish the various parts on my substack. A total of 8 stories have accepted for publication so far this year, and 4 have already been published.

Beyond that, I have 11 more anthologies I plan to submit to throughout the year. That means I need to write and polish for submission two stories a month for the rest of the year if I want to hit that goal. Some will probably slip by, but my goal is 26 submissions this year. I had 29 submissions last year, so this is down from last year’s output. But I do have a new job, so I’m willing to go with that. It just means I have to be more careful about what I choose to write. Though that is still up from 13 and 2 from the years before. And of course I only had four stories accepted last year, and I’m already at 8 this year, so quantity is not always best. That said, multiple acceptance letters THIS year from stories I wrote for anthologies LAST year, so sometimes quantity IS best. 😉

Right now I have a plan for a giant kaiju story, a unicorn story, another set of Transformers stories, a duel of honor set in New Japan, looking for inspiration for a mystical cold war story, a couple other deep ocean stories that have me interested in ways I didn’t expect, a story about fantastical sports (I’m going back and forth between science fiction and mystical for that one) and a story about dragons. Also considering sci-fi for that one.

I have many ideas in the pan, but right now I need to hit the Transformers, Unicorn, and Mystical Cold War stories first. Get them out of the way one at a time and punch them out. I’ve got plans. Now I just have to put them to paper. Well… electrons at least.
