Jack of Harts

A friend of mine for many years, Alderfek, did some 3-D designs of ships for my Jack of Harts universe a long time ago. I keep them around because I love them, and they are very cool.

This was the Victory-class dreadnought he designed for me back in the day. A class of British warships designed to anchor every battle line in the stars. HMS Victory herself even showed up in one of my stories, where she charged an entire enemy fleet that had ambushed her fleet to give them time to jump out. It was a fun story to write.

I recently took the old image Alderfek gave me and fed it into Grok Imagine to do some image manipulation. Give her a full paint job reminiscent of Nelson’s HMS Victory and then place her in orbit over an alien planet. So here she is in all her glory. HMS Victory of His Majesty’s Navy, the British Commonwealth.
