Hello, my name is Charles
France has a reputation for revolutions. Some of them have been very bloody. Others have been little more than official rewritings of their constitutions. The rise of the Third French Empire was one of the bloody revolutions. Between five and ten million people fled or died before it was over, almost all of them immigrants. Most returned home after their neighborhoods burned via free boat rides across the Mediterranean Sea. The most radical stayed, fought, and died.
