The House of Bonaparte remained a powerful force in French politics for the next several decades. They helped fund the French space program, and built the first French starships after we discovered hyperspace. They supported the multi-national colonization of Alpha Centauri and led the effort to colonize Francia. Everywhere that France went, a child of the House of Bonaparte went with them. And when accidents happened, they died with them.
