Hello, my name is Charles
The global networks had broadcast everything we as humanity did for all to see. Music crossed the world in seconds, rumors moved faster, and our vices hid beneath the surface in hidden networks. Corporations fought software piracy, religions fought sinful expressions, and nations fought other nations. In the age-old demand of the offended, they called for the silencing of their enemies. And when the “hate speech” was allowed, they attacked the networks that hosted it. The networks that survived did so by offending no one, or by having better defenses than the others.
