Sometimes I hear people say that the Peloran are old and wise.  Fact is, I’ve met one of their First Born.  She was my age when Julius Caesar crossed the Rubicon.  Of course, she is still alive, so I can understand the old bit.  Just don’t let her hear you say that.  And don’t let on that I said that either…
