Christian Mack’s face adorned recruiting posters throughout The War. An entire generation of children grew up watching the shows he filmed before it started, and more shows created with his digital likeness during the fighting. His mostly-fictional exploits as a Cowboy became the stuff of legends. He was by far the most famous of my Cowboys and he was a capable second-in-command. He was the logical person to take over command of the Cowboys when I retired after War’s End. He was also a popular choice. He stabilized our reputation as a trustworthy organization after the incident with my family. He has led us well ever since.
