The last day of Castlecon is always a bit slower than Saturday. Heavy gamers are here on Saturday. Families come on Sunday, and there is a lot more browsing as well. People who don’t game as much come over to see what games there are to try out. It is an awful lot of fun and I’m happy to be here.
Castlecon Day 2 (for me) is going good with many kids and adults and kids of adults who used to play checking out BattleTech and Alpha Strike. I’ve even demoed the old BattleTech CCG, which is pretty awesome. It is a very successful con in general, and very successful for me as well. I will be here on Sunday as well, so if you haven’t come by yet but want to, you still have time.
I’m at Castlecon right now, fully set up with all four games ready to play. Alpha Strike and BattleTech. BattleTech Encounters and the BattleTech CCG. All designed to fit into a single rolling case for easy travel in and out of a con. Come on over to the old Chateau Theatre in Rochester if you want to try any of them out.
CastleCon is coming in Rochester, and I am going to be running multiple demos at the con all weekend.
Starting Friday morning and going through Sunday, I will be running BattleTech, Alpha Strike, BattleTech Encounters, and BattleTech CCG for anyone interested.
Come on over and check me and the other games out if you wish. I hope to see you there.
Some of you may have heard of Amelia.
She is a tale as old as time. Some government people in Britain decided to make a game about how bad certain people are.
So they made the bad girl a purple-haired goth girl. It appears they don’t know young people very well.
As a former teenage boy, I can assure you that they had my interest at purple-haired goth girl, and based on the internet reaction, I’m not in the minority.
Some people really need to read the room…
