Not everyone likes to live in the country. Or the city. Some like deserts, while others like to sail inland seas. What I love about most worlds is that most of them have everything. The old science fiction tropes about desert planets and ocean worlds are, thankfully, just that. Fiction. Mostly. There are exceptions, but planets need a variety of environments to do the whole circle of life thing. And most planets have places that remind me of home. I like to search them out.
Twilight began to come to the Texas Tech parties, using the early holo technology of the time to interact with the various students who worked with Dixie. They weren’t certain if they trusted her, but gave her a chance because Dixie vouched for her. They gave her a lot of chances actually. She had a bad habit of hacking anything she was interested in, and it took Dixie a long time to wean her of that. There are those who contend that Twilight never gave the practice up, but simply got better at hiding it.
I published Angel Flight on amazon and Nook one year ago. In the time since, I have published Forge of Wars: Tactics on The Game Crafter, and Angel Strike on Amazon. Nook will come soon. In the meantime, I have published Angel Flight on DriveThru Fiction for those people who want another way to get the story. It is in PDF format for easy reading on computers and is available for the low-low cost of 99 American cents. I intend to add more products to that platform in the future.
Most of you are aware that I have long had plans in motion that my family did not agree with at the time. Most of you have at least heard the name Wolfenheim. I did not come up with it by the way. I am not that presumptuous. But what most people are unaware of is just how much Serenity had to do with Wolfenheim. Serenity changed everything, and most of all it changed Wolfenheim.
I’ve made some amazing friends in my life. Some are human. Well, all of them are human, really. Sometimes it’s hard to keep track of the way language changes. And then there are those who will never accept the change in language, because of what it means. I accepted the change, and I’m real glad I did. You see I met some of my best friends at Serenity. On the way actually. But it was Serenity that forged us.
