I fought on Gamma Trianguli during The War. Looking from Earth it’s part of a constellation the Chinese call Heaven’s Great General and they were rather fond of the place. I never did like it though. It was all nasty clouds, weird storms, and strange rock formations. It wasn’t like home at all. I know that’s the point of leaving home, but I was never interested in traveling back then. It was just so much bother when I could have anything I wanted back home.
I am a cybernetic intelligence. I was born the daughter of my mother. I became a Cowboy. We all became Cowboys. We were born to go to war. It was the bargain we made. We fought until the end of our endurance, until the only reason we kept going was the brother or sister at our shoulder. And that was when we found our new family.
One of the fun things about creating fun things is the fact that I can create things that I wish other people had made when I started gaming. Wound tokens are an example. Many games provide basic ones and many companies provide expensive ones. I wanted to make inexpensive ones that looked like amazing ones. And I got them for Forge of Wars. I like them so much in fact that I wanted to make them available for anybody to buy. So here they are at a low low price for a bag full of them suitable for any game where people get virtually wounded. Enjoy. 🙂
What does one do when you plan to change the worlds? Well, you usually start by thinking you are powerful enough to do it. So what do you do if you truly are that powerful? Is it possible to earn such power or is it something that no one should have? Or should only those who do not want it be trusted with it? These questions have been asked throughout the history of our race. I pray that I found the right answers.
“Uniformity is Strength” is another phrase I’ve heard before. It’s even wronger than the other one. Yeah, we wear uniforms. Yeah, we build standard weapons and take them to war. But this is all equipment. It’s the people that make that stuff useful. And people are different. Unique. We all see the worlds in different ways. Those many views give us understanding, lots of voices give good debate, and then we move together. As one. That is strength.
