Some of us hide what we want or think, whether it’s cause we think people don’t care or we don’t want to open ourselves up for ridicule by those who disagree.  Some of us proudly proclaim our beliefs, our wants, for all to see.  I usually remain silent now, because I just don’t need to say it.  You see I wear my bias for liberty and freedom on my sleeve.  It has thirteen red and white stripes and seventy one white stars on a blue background.  Yeehaw.

Nobody can make us happy or sad.  We do that on our own.  It’s the glass half empty or glass half full debate.  We decide how we will see things.  Happiness in the end is an inside job.

I learned long ago that if you are making a stand on what is right, you better being doing it to make a difference.  If you can’t change anything by making your stand, walk away and pick another place to do it where you can make a difference.  I don’t go for hopeless last stands.  That’s why I’m still alive, and still making what’s right make a difference when the conditions are ripe for it.

I do some social networking.  Betty does all of them.  We do it mostly for business.  It’s real easy to track all of you people who put your lives and pictures on them.  The Cowboys have our own network so I do that too.  I do have one pet peeve about the networks though.  People telling me that I have to repost their stuff or they’ll think I don’t agree.  I don’t like to spam, so I don’t repost.  Do not take my silence as a measurement of my thoughts.

We all have struggles we go through, we all have times when we fall down, when we fail.  Our times of failure do not define us though.  We say who we are every time we stand up, brush the bad things off ourselves, and move on.  That is the essence of life.  For me, I plan to move on and do amazing things and have an amazing life that I can look back on and say that I’m glad I was born.  I say I’m amazing.  I hope you do too.
