Did you know that the Shang demanded our surrender?  After they hit Yosemite and Washington D.C. that is.  They thought we would be easier to control if they demanded from a position of strength.  For such a smart race, I’ve always wondered how they could have misjudged us so badly.  All they had to do was study our history to know how we would react.  Why didn’t they?  I don’t know, and that worries me.
