Cancer
Mom’s cancer battle is continuing. She had some pain in the legs for a while, and the doctors put her on morphine. And as can happen with morphine, mom got very confused. So this week we took her back off the morphine, and the pain is gone, so she has been able to operate well this week. Her blood pressure has dropped into the normal range. She has generally had high blood pressure, and as even taken blood pressure pills in the past. She went off them when it was time to do cancer treatments, so it has been a relief that her blood pressure never spiked. But now that it is actively dropping into the normal range, I’m both relieved and worried. Is it a good or a bad sign that her blood pressure is now normal? I don’t know. Next week will be another keytruda treatment, so we shall see what happens with that.
