Remember to check your plumbing. Leaks can happen at the most pesky of times, as seen so often at night. Especially in the first couple weeks of November, when the cold weather starts to come in. It is so sad to see so many people and places unprepared for these cold snaps, especially in places where they are counting votes. I’ve seen so many counting places have to stop the count because the pipes froze and broke and water went everywhere and they just had to protect the workers and the ballots. So look ahead. Be proactive. Check your plumbing. Make sure your heat tape works if you are in a climate that needs it. Test for leaks. No one wants to see the vote count delayed because of poor plumbing, right?
