Final Fantasy
I grew up playing the Final Fantasy games, and they were the bars I measured other games by for years. So when the sequel to Final Fantasy III came out as Final Fantasy VII on this new system called a Playstation, I bought a Playstation so I could play the new Final Fantasy. I would later buy a Playstation 2, and discovered many more good RPGs from Japan through that medium. But I bought mostly Nintendo consoles and the Xboxes, because my gaming became more social than single-player. But this weekend I wanted to play the Final Fantasy VII Remake that I have seen so much of lately, and so I bought a Playstation 4. Once again, 25 years later, I bought a console and a single game to play on it. Final Fantasy VII.
