If you haven’t voted already, get out and do it as quickly as possible. You don’t want to get caught in the longest lines tonight after all. You want to give the poll workers as much time as possible to find the right paper if they loaded the wrong size into the printers like happened in Arizona in 2020. And if you find that no poll workers showed up to open the voting booths, you want to be able to call someone sooner rather than later to get that straightened out. And if the voting machines aren’t turned on or otherwise won’t work, best to figure that out now when not as many people are in line, so the people coming later can get through faster. There are all kinds of strange errors that crop up on election day, so get to the polls as early as you can so you can have time to work through and correct any of those errors without the added pressure of a long line of people wanting to vote behind you. And remember to vote even if you live in a district that will never vote your way. The people need all your votes to count, even from districts we won’t win. Your vote is never wasted. If we lose less in districts we can’t win, then votes in the districts we CAN win will have more impact. So get out and vote if you haven’t yet. Make your voice count.
