On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, the guns fell silent on Armistice Day.

Some call it Remembrance Day. Poppy Day. Others call it Veterans Day.

It is the day we remember those who died in war. The brave men who never came home.

In America we remember everyone who served because we already had a Memorial Day for those who died.

Whatever version of the day you remember, please take a moment to remember that we live in the world we see all around us because brave young men put their lives on the line to defend it.
