One of the more amusing things to come out of the new mayor celebration in New York City was one of the complaints that has been made famous.

Someone who came all the way from who knows where to see the first openly socialist mayor of New York City complained that there weren’t bathrooms or food.

Food.

A Socialist is being crowned mayor of New York City, and there isn’t enough food for the people to celebrate without being hungry.

Something about that just seems… historically accurate.

I do wish more people would read history and understand it. If more people did, they wouldn’t be as surprised at the things that Socialists do when they get into power.
