So I needed to go to my bank today to talk about a thing.

So I walked in, I talked to the nice lady behind the desk. We scheduled a thing. I told her about the thing. There weren’t any bankers available to talk to, but she wrote down notes and we figured out when we could do the thing with the banker. And then I walked out.

And I was I walking out, I realized I had not given her my ID or my name, and she’d been calling me by name the whole time.

And that is why I do my business inside my bank every month. Sometimes more than once a month. Because when the nice lady behind the desk knows you by name when you walk in, it really does simplify matters.
