After regular datanet access between England and America was restored, Watson decided to embrace his American nature more fully. He began to wear cowboy hats and boots, western-style trenchcoats, and other accoutrements that left no doubt he was from the North American Mid Western region. Along with Sherlock’s Londoner attire, their essential civilian natures were projected to everyone. They did not work for the government. But they did often come to help.
