The first person to realize how dangerous Jane 4.0 was turned out to be one of the few people in the world who could do something about it. She was the virtual cheerleader for Texas Tech who would earn the name Dixie the Drug Lord Slayer. She gave Jane 4.0’s lust for revenge a lot of exercise. And she introduced the military AI to all the students and teachers she worked with on a daily basis. She taught Jane 4.0 that the civilians who stood behind the thin line of her soldiers were the true reason she and her sisters had been created.
