Hello, my name is Charles
There had been rising discontent with the power of the federal government and the political division in the capital for decades before the Second Great Depression. The Tea Party and Occupy movements of the early 21st century were mere symptoms of that discontent. Neither were able to curtail the long term politicians from their constant bickering and refusal to make real reforms. When the economy finally collapsed, it was a time of reckoning for everyone.
