Space Cowboys 404: Cow Not Found

Acid House Terrain is putting on a kickstarter right now, so I thought I would push up some pictures I took of previous demos I ran with my set of OG Acid House Terrain. This is a full size WolfNet 350 board with Acid House buildings and ground tiles. The trees and pond are kitted out from other sources.

This terrain is designed for standard 35mm gaming, but is generic enough that it looks good with Alpha Strike BattleTech.

The new kickstarter has epic-level terrain specifically designed to be good for BattleTech scale. And there is even some discussion about possibly adding hexes to the ground tiles as an option. No promises, but if you jump in and make your wishes known, the creator is interested in the option if it is economically viable.

Acid House Terrain Kickstarter

In this last week the fine folks over at Raconteur Press made waves by getting the cover for Goblin Market accepted as a finalist at the Dragon Awards. These are all nominated from the fans so this is a major feather in their cap. Of course they also made waves by having the cover removed after being accepted for using AI in the creation of it.

Now Raconteur considers any press to be good press, and they jumped on the marketing. Check out the Goblin Market, a book so good it got accepted and then declined for a Dragon Award. The anthology sports stories that cross the streams from fantasy to science fiction, and truly is an enjoyable read. And in my own modest contribution, an old Texas Ranger and hunter of otherworldly creatures finds himself with a reason to help a faery find something very dear to them.
