Jack of Harts

The Veiled Guardians is my other story printed by Opal Kingdom Press, in their Stone and Sky anthology. It was all about gargoyles and how they work with people, or not, through the ages. In my own story, they were watching over the Gothic Church on the New Haven Green when Captain William Carter rode into town on his trusty warhorse. And that’s when everything goes sideways for him.
