Captain William Carter is a Texas Ranger in 1877, with a mission to protect the growing United States of America from the kind of otherwordly threats that can kill the unwary. But he needs otherworldly help to do it, and not everything from other worlds is a threat to mankind. And so Captain Carter finds himself searching out a faery marketplace to find someone who can make his newest weapon far more useful against his chosen foe. But he doesn’t enter the market alone, and the other visitors cause all kinds of chaos that he has to deal with.
